What's happening with health insurance in Maryland:
|
- Any Maryland resident can get health insurance, regardless of health.
- It is usually very affordable and if household income is low, then even more affordable.
- Look at plans with deductibles only.
- I never heard of anyone losing their ins. due to health problems or claims unless they intentionally lied on the application to get the insurance.
- Folks on Medicare may save money by leaving a group, or they may not, it needs to be analyzed with all the facts including pharmacy costs
- Many small groups can save a lot of money by switching to individual policies, as individual policies can cost as little as one third the price of group policies,I know this is the opposite of what a lot of folks think.
- If you are going to have surgery down the road , I wouldn't put it off for a long time as I would not want Rahm Emuel determining my options for surgery.
- Please , when you vote next time pay attention to what they have done in the past, whom they were associated with, what their real values are, not what they say they will do..
